Robyn Rihanna Fenty also referred to as Rihanna by Barbadians is a songwriter and singer. Her most popular songs comprise Pon de Replay, SOS Umbrella and Take a Bow. Still in her prime, Rihanna is now one of the most well-known music artists. Born in Barbados she was raised listening to reggae and started singing when she was quite young. In order to escape the tensions in her family along with the constant arguments between her parents, she started singing. While still in highschool she was a part of a band group and was invited to sing for Evan Rodgers. The producer was impressed by the talent of this teenager. Rihanna relocated from the United States to New York so that she was able to pursue a full-time singing career. Rihanna's debut album was shortly released and Rihanna was a cult artist within a short time. Her peppy foot-tapping songs quickly became the top choice of young people, causing her to get into film as well. Young and talented, Rihanna is now regarded as a teen idol and a model. Rihanna uses her fame to positive use as she is actively taking part in various charities.
